The Department of Computer Science in the College of Science at Purdue University invites applications for two or more tenure-track or tenured
positions in the broad area of systems. These appointments will be at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor. The positions are part of a continued expansion in a large-scale hiring effort across
key strategic areas in the College of Science.
Qualifications: The Department is interested in
candidates whose work focuses on database systems, cyber-physical systems, operating systems,
networking and distributed systems. Highly
qualified applicants in all areas of systems will
be considered. Applicants should hold a PhD in
Computer Science or a related discipline, have
demonstrated excellence in research, and have
a strong commitment to teaching. Successful
candidates will be expected to conduct research
in their fields of expertise, teach courses in computer science, and participate in department and
university activities.
