Stern College for Women, a selective private college in the heart of “Silicon Alley”,
in midtown Manhattan, New York, seeks a full-time Assistant Professor of Computer
Science. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth of Computer
Science education for women, in a women-only program. Our students are
enthusiastic learners, CS enrollment is growing, and our graduates are being sought
by premiere technology and finance employers.
A Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field is required by the start of employment,
along with a successful teaching record or distinguished industrial experience.
The successful candidate for this tenure-track position will teach a range of
undergraduate courses leading to a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, and will
pursue a research program that encourages students to participate in the discovery
