The Department of Computer Science and
Engineering (CSE) at Michigan State University
(MSU) invites applications for a faculty position
in the area of biometrics. While the position is
primarily for a junior faculty, candidates at other
rity and privacy, embedded and mobile systems,
computational social science, legal, economic,
and social aspects of computing, NLP, machine
learning, information and knowledge manage-
ment, programming languages, verification, par-
allel and distributed systems.
A doctoral degree in computer science or related areas and an outstanding research record
are required. Successful candidates are expected
to build a team and pursue a highly visible research agenda, both independently and in collaboration with other groups.
