The Computer Engineering Department at Bilkent University is in the process of hiring additional
faculty members and seeks candidates for multiple positions. Appointments may be made at Assistant Professor, as well as at Associate Professor
or Full Professor rank for candidates with commensurate experiences and accomplishments. A
PhD degree in a related field is required.
The department emphasizes both high qual-
ity research and teaching. Faculty duties include
teaching at the graduate and undergraduate lev-
els, research, supervision of theses and other re-
lated tasks. The department will consider candi-
dates with backgrounds and interests in all areas
in computer engineering and science; in particu-
lar the immediate needs of the department are in
the fields of software engineering, bioinformatics
and scientific computing.
