Western Kentucky University’s Computer Science Department announces a full-time position of Department Head beginning in the
summer of 2008. The department offers an
ABET/CAC accredited undergraduate program and a graduate program that is one of

Requirements for the department head position include a doctorate degree in computer
science or a closely related area and being qualified for tenure at the full professor rank in
Computer Science by having a record of effective teaching, research, and service. Experience
in obtaining significant external grants is desirable as is previous related administrative experience. The appointed candidate will have
demonstrated effective leadership abilities and
will also show support for our college and university objectives. Salary is competitive.
