The Division of Mathematics and Computer Science has a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Computer Science position beginning 1/1/2013 to teach undergraduate courses in computer science, develop curriculum, engage in scholarly activities, advise students.

PhD in Computer Science or closely related field and excellent communication skills required. Prefer research interest in one of the following areas: Networking and Computer Security, Software Engineering, Database, Robotics.

IST AUSTRIA IS LOOKING FOR POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWS

IST Austria (Institute of Science and Technology Austria) invites applications for postdoctoral fellows in all fields of the natural and mathematical sciences and related disciplines. The Institute, which is on the outskirts of Vienna, was established by the Austrian government with a focus on basic research. IST Austria has English as its working language, and its Graduate School awards PhD degrees. It has an international mix of scientists chosen solely on the basis of their individual excellence and potential contribution to research. The Institute has set up a program for exceptional postdoctoral researchers partially funded by the European Union. Appointments will be for 2–4 years. Applications will be accepted at any time, but fellows will be selected twice a year in October and April. The deadlines for each selection are the 15th of September and March, respectively. Applicants must have the support of one or more Professors or Assistant Professors of IST Austria who will host them in their research group. The Institute offers an internationally competitive salary, full social security coverage, and additional benefits.
