The Center for Genomics and Bioinformatics
(CGB) ( http://cgb.indiana.edu) is a research center
at Indiana University, Bloomington that carries
out research in all aspects of genomics and bioinformatics. The CGB Bioinformatics Group – Genome Computing Unit conducts research in the
area of next generation sequencing and gene microarray data analysis, genome assembly and annotation, functional genomics and systems biology. We have an immediate vacancy for the Genome
Computing Unit Leader. Responsibilities include
guiding research projects; managing all aspects
of the analysis of next generation sequencing and
microarray projects, along with hiring, training,
and supervising staff. Ideal candidate will hold a
Ph.D., have a strong background in computer science and/or bioinformatics, and have extensive
experience in genome data analysis.
This is a non-tenure track research faculty appointment with salary and benefits commensurate with prior experience. The position is available immediately. Those received by May 15, 2011

The Computer Science Department at North Carolina State University (NCSU) invites applications

Primary responsibilities will include teaching
